We work with a clear and ambitious educational concept. The foundation is formed by the Dutch core curriculum, with plenty of attention for language, arithmetic, reading, world orientation, citizenship and socio-emotional development.

Language, reading, arithmetic and study skills form the core of good primary education. We want to guide pupils firmly in these foundations from a young age.

English and international orientation
English proficiency is becoming increasingly important. Nova Academy Zoetermeer wants to prepare pupils naturally for an international society.
Digital skills and AI awareness

Approach
A well-considered didactic
Lower school (groups 1-3)
In the lower school the focus is on play-based learning, language development and a safe foundation. We pay a lot of attention to reading pleasure, vocabulary, motor development and socio-emotional growth.
Upper school (groups 4-8)
In the upper school pupils work increasingly independently on complex skills. We strengthen basic skills, add English and digital literacy and prepare pupils for secondary education.
