Safety

Safety, structure and trust

A child can only learn well when they feel safe.

That is why Nova Academy Zoetermeer wants to build a school climate where safety, structure, trust and respect are central.

We work on an environment in which:

  • pupils feel seen and heard;
  • clear rules and expectations exist;
  • respectful behaviour is encouraged;
  • bullying is actively prevented;
  • parents and school work together;
  • differences are approached with care and respect.

Warm & professional

Our school culture must be warm, professional and clear. Children get room to grow, but also the structure they need.

Active anti-bullying policy

Bullying is actively prevented and addressed. We make clear agreements about this with pupils, parents and team.

Seen and heard

Every pupil is seen. We work with attention for individual growth, clear learning goals and regular feedback.

Parents are our partners in safety

We build a safe school climate together with parents. Read more about our collaboration.
