Our mission
The mission of Nova Academy Zoetermeer is to provide qualitatively high-quality primary education in which every pupil is challenged to get the best out of themselves.
We guide children in their cognitive, social, moral and personal development. Pupils get the space to discover their talents, strengthen basic skills and take responsibility for their own learning process.
Nova Academy Zoetermeer wants to shape pupils into self-aware, critical and engaged citizens. Children who stand firmly in their identity, are open to others and actively contribute to a just, inclusive and humane society.

Our vision
Our vision is that education must prepare children for a world that is changing rapidly through technology, globalisation, social diversity and new ways of learning, working and communicating.
Therefore we combine a strong academic foundation with character formation, citizenship formation, digital literacy, English language skills, talent development and moral reflection.
We want pupils not only to learn what they need to know, but also how to think, investigate, collaborate and act.
Our Islamic identity forms the moral foundation of our school. This identity is expressed in respect, honesty, justice, responsibility, compassion and the pursuit of excellence. At the same time, Nova Academy Zoetermeer stands in the middle of Dutch society and endorses the core values of the democratic constitutional state.
